Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce students the obligations of the parties in Labour Law generaly and for this purpose to help them to have a basic knowledge to solve the promblems which they will face related to protections of wages and the working conditions and also modifications and interpretations of the contions within the employer and employee relationship and also by explaining the main points of the termination of the employment contract help them identify the situations and produce solutions in working life

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to determine the obligations of the employee
2   Being able to learn the obl,gations of the employer caused being a party of an employment contract
3   Being able to informed related to the termination with notice, job security and reinstate
4   Being able to define the types of the termination of employment contracts
5   Being able to learn the concepts of working conditions modifications and termination of employment acontract because of this modification
6   Being able to determine conditions of the establishement, validity and termination of the employment contract generally
7   Being able to examine claims arising because of wages and Labour rights of the employees
8   Being able to use knowledge related to labour law

2 The obligations of the employee caused by the employment conract
3 The obligations of the employer caused by the employment contract
4 The concept of wage
5 Change in working conditions and termination of employment conract
6 Termination of the employment contract ( aggrement, termination, death of the parties)
7 Case study
8 Midterm exam
9 The concept of termination and termination with notice period
10 Termintion of employment contract for valid reason and reinstatement, termination of employment contract for a just cause
11 Jugment process of Labour Law and authority of the Labour Courts
12 Litigation process
13 Appeal process
14 Arbitration in Labour Law
