Course Objective

This course is intended as an introduction into the political extremism and radicalism. Main objective of this course is to explain contemporary conceptualization of political extremism and radicalism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Examine the political extremism in the modern political ideologies in order to understand their impact on the social life of the main representatives of the basic concepts, assumptions and expression;
2   To analyze the causes and consequences of radicalism in order to understand in which ways terrorism, nationalism, conservatism and anarchy and their relations to current issues
3   Examine the societies regarding to their socio-economic, political, cultural, and legal structure to understand the effects of radical phenomena
4   To demonstrate the adequacy of the presentation skills course material to make a detailed and well-articulated presentations.
