Course Objective

This course aims to provide a general overview on selected topics of international investment law and relevant legal instruments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   demonstrate understanding of main issues and legal concepts of international investment law in order to examine legal rules relating to issue.
2   be able to identify and analyze the basic principles of international investment law.
3   be able to follow current development in the field in order to discuss relevant topics.
4   be able to evaluate the provisions of international investment treaties.
5   be able to identify problems in international investment disputes.
