Course Objective

At the end of this course the students can understand and explain that modernization period from Ottoman state to republic, Kemalist thinking system and its concepts, social and cultural changes in republic period, the factors which affected the Kemalist thinking system, the comparison of modern characteristics of Kemalist system to dogmatic ideologies, the current problems and Kemalist thinking system.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the structure of seeing fundamentals of the Turkish revolution.
2   Theories of world revolution, have an idea about political figures and philosophers To be.
3   Understand the main political currents in the world.
4   To learn how you look at it a different ideology and revolution of certain political themes.
5   Being able to see the difference from the rest of the Turkish revolution within revolutions.
6   To compare with the idea of revolution created by the current in the voltage caused by ideologies.
7   Historical and philosophical sources of political and social ideas of the Republican era viewable.
