Course Objective

This course aims to supply the students with the knowledge and skills for processing audio, MIDI, and music, and producing experimental compositions, at a fundamental level, in the computer medium.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can make use of the sound samples created on his/her own in his/her compositions.
2   Can make an audio recording from a composition he/she produced as a MIDI file.
3   Can classify prominent kinds of sonification applications.
4   Can create an experimental composition utilizing sonification.
