Course Objective

The main aim of the course is to make the student understand what studio shots are, how they are taken and how the photograph is used in product photography. The secondary aim of the course is to ensure that the student can take an accurate product photograph in the studio and process this photograph to a level that can be used in an advertisement.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the structure and working mechanism features of photography in detail
2   Ability to use and improve the features of the camera correctly,
3   Ability to use the features of photography technology by benefiting from the fields of Art and Design,
4   Ability to use image processing programs practically,
5   To be able to establish a relationship between the aesthetic and technical aspects of photography and advertising narrative,
6   Ability to accurately perceive studio light and daylight in photography and make decisions in product shots

Theoretical courses:
Verbal-visual presentation based on different sources of technical and theoretical applied.
Audio-visual teaching materials are included in the expression using the required image processing programs.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Theory Courses: Different resources on technical and theoretical explained by verbalvisual
expression. Arrays of visual and audio tools are utilized to demonstrate
photography processing programs.
Application Courses: Image capturing of covered subjects and detailed demonstration of
practical use of necessary computer programs.

Assessment Criteria

HOMEWORK :
The student, given by the instructor or working on self-selected topics and visually understand and transfer them to create a photo to reach for success and evaluation is expected to reach the necessary resources.
ATTENDANCE AND APPLICATION:
Photo of student attendance application oriented education, which is the most important element. The success of the course students will increase participation and learning will be key elements in the assessment will be done by.

To obtain textbook/textbooks. To follow directions provided by teaching faculty in theory and application courses. Preliminary work must be completed. To participate in practice shootings with individual materials. To hand in assignments on time. To attend at least 70% of lectures and 80% of applications.
