Course Objective

This course involves the education of the techniques which are necessary for expressing the designs existing in life, their conversion into designs, their designing before production and their problems. In this process, designs are of great priority.


Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   define the basic technical rules and concepts applied all over the world in common, for expressing ideas by drawing
2   be informed of the equipment used in Technical Drawing process, and analyze projects in accordance with the rules, norms and standards,
3   use the size, scale and numerical concepts,
4   express the periodic stages of different designs by drawing in details and in size.
5   apply different methods, such as arrangement, analysis, transfer, integration, disintegration for their projects,
6   in designing process, express the theory and rules of perspective and geometry by integrating lightning light, shadow- time, location, form, volume, plane with them.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1- Lessons;
The instructor guides the students to express their designs in designing process, to design for production, to use different expressing techniques. This course aims that the students comprehend the subject matter by the help of size, scale and technical knowledge; and also, to gain necessary knowledge and experience to express the subject matter.
2- Revising sessions, in-class discussions and workshop practices;
The students are supposed to prepare homework and study on the subjects given via documents, techniques and practices by the instructor.
