Course Objective

to improve skills like visual understanding and kinetic keyboard manipulation using piano repertory for beginners, scales, chords and arpeggios.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   play wih counting the beats in simple and compound time sigantures
2   play paralell scales and arpeggios in different tones
3   demonstrate accurate movement of thumb
4   control hands of dynamics and articulations while playing simultaneously (hand independence)
5   play little pieces from different ages
6   interprete the simple music terms of dynamics, tempo and musical expressions at piano
7   demonstrate musical phrases of piano pieces.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The student level of piano technics and repertory are assigned by the instructor and every student is given the syllabus is assigned by the instructor unless under the program level.
Lessons are doing individual. In these lessons, instructor explains learning subject at piano using piano sheets and gives feedback and homework etudes after the student playing.
