Course Objective

To have the students attending the class to make works intended for interior and exterior walls.In order to do that, the students are provided with tyhe necessary knowledge and skills that will help them come up with the most suitable and effective visual and pictorial designs first, and then realize their monumental works at the end of the process.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   be able to create artistic projects intented for public and private spaces
2   have a social attitute by experiencing the properties of art that influence and educate the masses, as a result of applications spesificalliy realized in outdoor public spaces
3   be able to come up with practical solutions in the process of creating projects or applications, by taking different thoughts and suggestions into consideration
4   accumulate the experience to be able to handle the negative effects of external factors during the application processes concerning outdoor spaces
5   be able to find solutions concerning interior spaces eithin the context of their inner dynamics.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. Students are thoroughly informed about the fact that applications concerning interior and exterior spaces are only possible through the use of scaled projects that have been well planned.
2. Treditional and contemporary visual examples about the topic are examined with explanations and mutual commentary.
3.Sketches and ideas concerning the design are discussed and suggestions are made, in order to come up with thwe most effective results.
4. Every step of the project is supervised during the application stage and mutual commends arem made to get the most effective results.
