Course Objective

Objectives of printing course for potential artists are improving the power of intuition which is the basis of creativity, constructive and creative forces by disciplined observation During the training program; providing to acquire the ability to interpret objects and relations between objects; providing Education which obtain the necessary culture which makes feel the nature and logic of art.. We can list the other objectives of printing course as people which are responding to the need for age, adopting mentality of contemporary art, creative and constructive, Pioneer designer; making original works with a high level education; providing to become widespread and to reach to a wider mass printing which is a relatively new area of interest in our country,

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing the historical development of printing, contemporary printing art, printing artists, printing techniques and tools.
2   Knowing monotype printing, technic of monotype printing, photocopying transfer printing technique, samples made with photocopying transfer printing technique. making monotype printing and Photocopying transfer printing technique
3   Knowing high-pressure printing technique, it's system of practice and it's samples; making high-pressure printing, linoleum print and woodblock printing
4   Knowing engraving technique, it's system of practice, it's samples; making engraving
5   Using their works when students need gaining experiences during the application

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. Students present three document of project presentation being suitable for application
2. Students prepare a one-semester works by choosing one of the subject titles which is presented them.
3. Aplications are finished with mutual discussion and comments.
