Course Objective

The importance of original thinking and having an original style in Graphic Design is conveyed to the students through discussion / evaluation on lectures and examples. In this context, it is aimed for the student to establish a unique graphic language with exercises related to creative visual thinking and expressing a content / idea with visual language in Graphic Design. Students are expected to evaluate the gains from these exercises in a final project that includes visual identity and poster designs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Creative visual thinking
2   Uniquely visualizing an idea / content / message
3   Ability to produce creative design solutions
4   To be able to develop creative and original design solutions in Visual Identity and Poster Design.
5   To be able to complete projects on time and completely and to prepare them for presentation correctly
6   Competence in using the Adobe Illustrator program
