Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce the students to give knowledge on contemporary theatre directors techniques by using theoretical and also practical works.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course the learner is expected to, be able to gain the theoretical and practical knowledge about the new theater environment of the 20th century, where the foundations of Contemporary Theatre were laid.
2   Be able to use the basic principles of contemporary theatre
3   Be able to use the methods and techniques of the decisive theatre directors from1890's
4   Be able to discuss the contemporary theater directors plays.
5   Be able to use the directing techniques to gain by testing the ability of the theory and application integrity
6   Be able to synthesize the Contemporary theatre as a multidimensional.
