Course Objective |
To introduce, the students, to the basic characteristics of the main genres from Ancient Greek to Renaissance, parallel to the main concepts od the art of drama; and help them develop the skills to express those verbally and orally. |

The main method in the lectures is the discussions to help the students understand the characteristics covered, after the lecturer states the context and form characteristics of a stage play text. |

The comprahension of the genre, literary movement and author of the play, characteristics of those, are the base in the exam evaluations. |

It is significant to deliver the papers complete and on time, to do sufficient research of sources and using them in ethical way and make correct use of that. |

Students are responsible for the reading of the sources about stage play texts as well as the play texts to be held in the class in advance. |
