Course Objective

Ability to do acceptance test, quality control, calibration and evaluation of image qualityand to define the clinical applications of imaging devices used for diagnostic purposes.Also to make a dose assessment of imaging devices and to know and apply the measures taken for radiation safety at work areas.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define ,to make acceptance testing, calibration and quality control tests on MRI.
2   To define ,to make acceptance testing, calibration and quality control tests on Mammography.
3   To make optimization tests about image quality on these devices.
4   To provide radiation protection and radiation safety on DEXA and Mammography devices.
5   To evaulate the relation between image quality and dose on DEXA and Mammography devices.
