Course Objective

Aims of this course are to teach nuclear medicine imaging and radionuclide therapy methods, as well as clinical indications and interpretation of images and acceptance tests and quality controls of both imaging systems and obtained images are also been planned to teach.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describe gamma camera systems and to perform acceptance tests, calibration and quality control tests.
2   Being able to perform acceptance tests, calibration and quality control tests of uptake equipments.
3   Being able to describe the parameters to effect of image quality.
4   Being able to describe and organize radiation protection procedures in Nuclear Medicine during daily routine of conventional nuclear medicine applications.
5   Being able to describe dose calibrators and to perform acceptance tests, calibration and quality control tests.

2. Final examination and mid term examination will be evaluated by assay or test type examination technique.
