Course Objective

To provide knowledge about attitude to athletes, common athlete injuries, physiotherapy techniques and practice skills in assessment and treatment of athlete injuries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows and evaluates anatomic and physiological differences of healthy athletes
2   Arrays injury-specific assessment parameters in injured athletes.
3   Explains therapy modalities via evidence-based methods.
4   Applies treatment methods.
5   Explains return to play criteria and re-injury prevention methods
