Course Objective

This course, in situations that require intensive care to learn about physical therapy evaluation and applications, aimed to discuss research and applications of cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the intensive care unit and the equipment.
2   Knows objectives, indications and contra indications of intensive care
3   Can evaluate and keep records in intensive care physiotherapy.
4   Knows mechanical ventilators and can add the physiotherapy program.
5   Knows the different approaches of physiotherapy in intensive care for diseases,
6   Knows the importance of multidisciplinary working and tasks within the team.
