Course Objective

To provide to learn structural features of oocyte and sperm development, the laboratory methods for fertilization and assisted reproduction.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to explain gametogenesis
2   Able to explain control the quality of IVF lab
3   Able to explain male infertility and sperm preparation protocols
4   Able to explain oocyte collection and oocyte morphology, imaging techniques to define and apply the procedure
5   Able to explain the criteria for embryo selection
6   Able to explain the factors affecting embryo transfer and implantation
