Course Objective

This course aims to enable students to gain basic/advance evidence based knowledge and skills about the nursing management that hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The ability to discuss the basic concepts of the pediatric intensive care unit nursing
2   The ability to explain the technology used in intensive care unit
3   The ability to follow up the current approaches about children hospitalized in intensive care
4   The ability to synthesize the basic knowledge and technology used in intensive care unit to children hospitalized in intensive care unit
5   The ability to use the pediatric intensive care nursing concept in child and their family care
6   The ability to give nursing care by holistic approach to children hospitalized in Intensive care Unit
7   The ability to haveknowledge about status of intensive care unit in Türkiye and the world
8   The ability to discuss the ethical bias in pediatric intensive care unit/to develop awareness
9   The ability to formulate solutions to problem in pediatric intensive care unit
10   The ability to form a holistic care plan on planning child and family care in intensive care unit by synthesizing the basic concepts of child intensive care nursing
