Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to bring deep knowledge and skills related with the basic concepts of Internal Medicine Nursing

1   Define the concepts related with internal medicine nursing with an analytical viewpoint
2   Explain the importance of using the concepts related with internal medicine nursing in nursing practices
3   Assess the researches performed in the field of internal medicine nursing conceptually
4   Use the relevant concepts in researches related with the field of internal medicine nursing
5   Create a critical assessment in terms of contemporary science philosophy and research methods
6   Organize interdisciplinary studies in practices related with nursing concepts.

Assessment Criteria

Presentation skill of the student, her/his preparation to the subject and participation in discussions will be assessed as the midterm exam.
Her/his examination of nursing studies related with a concept, as well as the explanation and report of how she/he uses the nursing concepts in three selected studies will be assessed as homework.
The skills of interpretation, decision making, explanation and knowledge combination will be assessed in the final exam
