Course Objective

This course aims the doctorate students in Surgical Nursing to make researches in literature, to have information about actual nursing issues, to write report/essay by synthesizing these knowledges and outcomes of evidence based practice, to discuss and present them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student reviews literature in detail about the actual innovations in Surgical Diseases Nursing
2   The student synthesizes these knowledges and outcomes of evidence based practice, analyze them with quantitive and qualitative datas and interpret and assess them.
3   The student makes a scientific report or essay with the results he/she gets.
4   The student presents the results in written, orally or visually in a scientific journal, congress or symposium in the field of surgical diseases nursing.
