Course Objective

This course contains topics which will form a basis for the field of doctorate thesis of the student in transplantation nursing. This course helps students create a comprehensive background, follow new developments and integrate these into their thesis studies. It facilitates the comprehensive learning of the information obtained from fundamental resources and provides the students with the opportunities of investigating the latest literature in this field and evidence-based guides and applying them in their thesis studies.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

1. Each student prepares the topics related to the thesis field comprehensively in the first block of the course and submits a report after determining the data that should be integrated into the thesis.
2. Each student submits a report by summarizing the latest literature and evidence-based guides concerning the thesis field in the second block of the course. Besides, students review their preparation and planning for the thesis suggestion based on new information obtained in this process.
It is expected that homeworks and reports are prepared in APA format in computer.

Assessment Criteria

In the final exam, the abilities of interpreting, remembering, taking a decision, explaining, classifying and combining the information will be evalauted.
