Course Objective

Comprehend the interaction between the host and microbes in infectious disease pathogenesis by molecular and cellular level upon the certain disease and micrope models

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the concepts of colonization, infection and virulan and also learn the way of define virulans factors
2   Identification of the basic mechanisms of host defense against infection
3   Identify bacterial virulence factors
4   Identify of virulence factors in the pathogenesis of bacterial infection and immune response in the context of models for the location of the disease
5   Understand virulence factors involved in the pathogenesis of fungal diseases and identification of antifungal immune components
6   Define the association between the virus-cell interactions and pathogenesis
7   Define the natural and adapted immun system in take a role of antiviral responses
8   Define the concepts of presitancy, latency and oncogenesis
