Course Objective

The aim of this course is to broaden and deepen arguments about current memory and identity in contemporary art and photography and focus on artists who deal with themes of memory and identity.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1- At the end of this course, students will be able to examine the related literature about memory, identity and contemporary art.
2   2- To be able to do research on memory and identity and transform this knowledge into artistic production model,
3   3- Ability to work individually or in teams on memory and identity projects,
4   4- To be able to develop partnership with experts from different disciplines while producing artwork and article work.
5   5- It is aimed to be able to write the report of the project that it will produce about memory and identity.
