Course Objective

Within the framework of the art of photography, collections established with special initiatives, non-profit structures, associations, federations, international photo art federation such as non-governmental organizations and the photo institutions they represent, from the beginning to the present day and the contributions to the institutionalization process in the art of photography will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know the relationship between institutional structure and photography,
2   To know the approaches of non-governmental organizations to the art of photography
3   The knowledge of photo associations and the institutional structures of the federation
4   To be able to interpret the contribution of civil initiatives to the art of photography
5   It is expected that the non-governmental organizations that have gained corporate identity in the field of photography will be able to evaluate their contribution to the art of photography.

2 The institutional infrastructure for democratic society and culture, an environment in which political and cultural freedoms can be experienced and understanding of art
3 The place of art / photography in daily life with the consciousness of being equal, free and responsible citizens
4 Enlightenment philosophy, academies, painting and sculpture museums, opening galleries and highlighting art education
5 Art / photography education in Halkevleri and Halkodaları
6 The establishment of the Village Institutes, the functionality of artistic production with the philosophy of sal utilitarian education kuruluş / the spread of photography education
7 Academic structuring of the art of photography in Bauhaus School
