Course Objective

to understand feminism and feminist criticism; and with a feminist perspective to look at texts and performances

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   analysis, identify and research ability in the field of feminism
2   understand the historical development of feminism in the west and Turkiye
3   explain to feminist perspective of art criticsm, and know the most important examples of feminist art criticism
4   examine the theatre texts in feminist perspective
5   analysis the selected text in feminist perspective and reinterpreting the text in alternative thoughts
6   Earn ability to work in interdisciplinary area
7   earn ability to reading different way of thinking on texts

All kinds of Turkish and other languages literature on feminism.
In addition, all kinds of texts, books, articles and visual materials about theater theories and text analyze

Basic outlines of the course are given by the instructor with examples, opinions.

Benchmark for assessment/grading is graded by student s reporting literature scanning, collecting data and synthesize what they have collected in analysis, discussing the report in classroom activity and achieving in presentation of the studies.
