Course Objective

To comprehend advanced methods and techniques of music composition.

1   Generate musical compositions in various forms and styles.
2   Determine the best suitable composition style for a particular work
3   Analyse different compositional techniques.
4   Describe characteristics of voice, piano and strings.
5   Explain standardized music forms used in Baroque, Classic and Romantic periods.
