To gain knowledge and resources about approaches, methods, principles and applications of active learning in music education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know the philosophy of active learning in music education. 2   To make connections between the principles of active learning and music education. 3   To know the philosophy, fundamental and tools of Dalcroze-Eurhytmic method. 4   To know the philosophy, fundamental and tools of Kodaly Method. 5   To know the philosophy, fundamental and tools of Orff-Schulwerk. 6   To make connections between Orff-Schulwerk activities and Cooperative learning activities. 7   To know the philosophy, fundamental and tools of Suzuki Method. 8   To create original music education approaches based on active learning methods in music education.
