Course Objective

The aim of the seminar is to enable and encourage the students to do literature search on a given or selected topic, to give them the opportunity to learn synthesising the information gathered from the searched literature, to analyse, interpret and discuss the findings in the light of available literature, to compile the results in the form of a report and to submit them before an audience.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Search literature to do a detailed research on a given or selected subject
2   Categorize the data of the literature search to reach a solution for a pre-determined problem or subject within or outside their areas of interest
3   Synthesise, analyse and interpret the data of the literature search
4   Prepare a substantial report based on the findings of the literature search
5   Feel confidence to submit the report before an audience

Assessment Criteria

Students study works of literature on the subject, data collection, compilation, analysis and reporting on the results of its ability to report on the subject prepared by the end of the period and is measured with the presentation of the report.
