Course Objective

The aim of this course is aware of the urban problems of urbanization in Turkey, and to have the knowledge and skills to produce a solution.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the basic concepts on the course of Urbanization in Turkey.
2   Learn to the history of urbanization and analyze the factors affecting industrialization of Turkey.
3   Distinguish according to their functions among the cities of Turkey.
4   Analyze the policies of urbanization in Turkey.
5   Identify problems in urban areas and improve the proposed solutions to the urban.
