Course Objective

The aim of the seminar is to enable and encourage the students to do literature search on a given or selected topic, to give them the opportunity to learn synthesizing the information gathered from the searched literature, to analyze, interpret and discuss the findings in the light of available literature, to compile the results in the form of a report and to submit them before an audience.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Search literature to do a detailed research on a given or selected subject.
2   Gather, synthesize, analyze and interpret the results of the literature search to reach a solution for a pre-determined problem or subject within or outside their areas of interest.
3   Prepare a substantial report based on the findings of the literature search and feel confidence to submit them before an audience.
4   A literature review as a result of the findings, depending on a detailed preparation of a report and defending the findings to the listeners.
5   Prepare a scientific report
