Course Objective

In this course, evaluations are done on the anthropological approach to religion in the axis of historical and theoretical perspectives.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the field of anthropology and its historical developments.
2   Interprets the anthropological approach to religion.
3   Evaluates the ways anthropology examines religious structures.
4   Understands the distinctions of anthropology's approach to religion from the theological perspective.
5   Discusses the concepts of "Anthropology of Islam" and "Islamic Anthropology".
