Course Objective

To deeply investigate phenomenology as a philosophical, epistemological and methodological approach along with taking consideration its historical process and to teach methods in the area of sociology of religion relied on phenomenology.

1   They will learn the history of phenomenology and its basic approach.
2   They will meet the founders of phenomenology along with their theories.
3   They will see the impact of phenomenology on sociological methods.
4   They will learn Romantic hermeneutics as a method.
5   They will gain phenomenological imagination in the sociology of religion.
