Course Objective

Mystics of all religions are known to have a dimension that can be called. Mystical dimension is particularly advanced and widely accepted by the masses is an integral part of the religion. Historical, cultural and philosophical aspects of the phenomenon of mysticism that may be discussed in this lesson are examined using psychological concepts and processes and the student's understanding of these issues from a psychological perspective is intended to.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student learns about mysticism.
2   Understand psychologically Islamic mysticism (Sufism).
3   Takes the psychological approach to the discipline of Sufism.
4   Takes psychologically the basic concepts of Sufism (taqwa, piety, patience, etc.).
5   Learn about psychopathological states with mysticism is the şatahat.

1 As a subject of psychology of religion Sufism.
2 The concept of mysticism in different religions.
3 The concept of Islamic mysticism of Sufism.
4 Psychological approach to the phenomenon of Sufism.
5 Purification and repentance.
6 Prayer.
7 Midterm exam.
8 Psychological states taqwa, piety, patience, trust and consent and conviction conditions.
9 States of consciousness in Sufism.
10 Sufism and psychopatologic deviations.
11 Mysticism in terms of religious experience.
12 Relationship of psychotherapy and sufism.
13 Relationship of psychotherapy and sufism.
14 Therapeutic functions of Sufi sagas.
15 Mystical approaches in modern life.
