To recognize Ibnu'l-Arabi and his work Fususu'l-Hikem, to interpret Fusus with the benefit of Its commentaries

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student knows Ibn al-Arabi, which is the important figures of Sufism.
2   He understand the idea of Wahdet-i Vucud (Unity of body) in Sufism
3   He knows the criticisms about the idea of Wahdet-i Vucud
4   He learns Fusus al-Hikem and Its Annotates
5   He understands the relationship and differences between the idea of Wahdet al Vucud and Wahdet al Suhud
