Course Objective

The objective of this course is to evaluate contemporary developements in tourism sector; to examine global compettition, global movements and legal regulations in tourism; and to analyze current trends in tourism demand and tourism supply

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to evaluate opportunities and threats for tourism in Turkey.
2   To be able to analyze global tourism movements and changes in customer expectations.
3   To be able to explain factors affecting tourism demand.
4   To be able to understand current problems encountered in tourism sector and discuss new approaches.
5   To be able to evaluate tourism strategies of Turkey and their impacts on the sector.
