Course Objective

Investigate genetic components, disorders of cognitive components, changes in functions and structure of brain, cell pathology, neurochemical and neuroendocrine processes of ethiopathogenesis of childhood psychiatric disorders, particularly mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be informed of genetic components and disorders in cognitive functions of childhood psychiatric disorders
2   To learn structural and functional changes of the brain obtained by imaging techniques in childhood psychiatric disorders
3   To have knowledge about cell pathology, neurochemical and neuroendocrinal processes of childhood psychiatric disorders.
4   To learn about the place of electrophysiology in childhood psychiatric disorders.
