Course Objective

Examining the rise of liberal politics, how it shapes the modern social life with its
tools, methods and politics,
Discussing the linear relationship between economism and needs in order to understand
how derivative is it.
The concept of New Social Consciousness will be examined with its socio-psychological,
socio-economic and individual awareness bases.
The accommodation of the individual into liberal politics (which are shaped by
consumerism) wil be studied while making projections over the future social policies.
New Social Consciousness and the evolution of social perception will be explained by
the support of current social-neuroscientific findings.
Finally, the effects of liberal politics on social awareness and the overall social
policy will be projected.

1   To understand the Conceptualized Era and the new dimension of the liberalism
2   To understand the new approaches aiming to explain the linear relationship between economism and needs
3   To understand the dynamics of social cognition
4   To learn the New Social Consciousness and its academic discussions
5   To learn the New Social Consciousness and the evolution of social perception by the support of current social-neuroscientific findings
6   To be able to match the pratics and teorics of social policies
