Course Objective

It is aimed to introduce students characteristics, principales and rules of International Law. By the help of this education, students will be able to immobilize the situation (due diligence) encountered all kind of Labor law matters with the knowledge of international law. Also by giving this education, it is aimed to recognize the legal problems encountered in work-life and to provide students solve this cases by the help of their knowledge.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define dominated concepts of international law
2   Being able to learn preperation and provisions of international convention and understand procedure adopted
3   Being able to compare principales of employment contracts and international conventions
4   Being able to learn general rules in Anglo-Saxon Law related to employment contracts
5   Being able to understand elements of employment contracts according to Turkish Labor Law
6   Being able to follow changes in legislation and obtain information about Supreme Court Decisions
7   Being able to examine and solve problemes related to Labor law matters in the light of the decisions of the Supreme Court faced in working life
8   Being able to determine the effects of international law on Turkish Labor law
