Course Objective

This course aims to give students an appreciation of the quality of working life, because the quality concept has started to be used in institutional analysis of social life in recent years.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognise the quality approaches relating to working life
2   Identify quality and market relationship
3   Demonstrate the supply of quality in case of the global value chains
4   Analysis the effects of the quality demand on labour market
5   Summarise the effects of the quality demand on the working conditions other than wage
6   Assess proposals about improving the quality of working life
