Course Objective

It is aimed students to analyze the suggestionsof urbanization policies for solving the urban problems and to associate them with their own localities.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able toanalyze the outlooks of the different political systems for the urban problems andtheir suggestions for solutions.
2   Being able to evaluatecomparatively themeans which are strengtheningthe co-existence experience of the different groups that make up the city.
3   Being able to analyze the relationships of local government, civil society and political participationin term of local democracyby interpreting.
4   Being able to explainthe relationship betweenglobalization, urban restructuring and spatial dissociation
5   Being able to discuss the functionality of the means for their solution
