Course Objective

Analyse and research the biographies and studies of liberal and conservative thinkers who were effective in Turkey in the last of 19th century and 20th century

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to know the liberal and conservative thinkers in Turkey.
2   Being able to comment political and social environment which impressed the liberal and conservative thinkers
3   Being able to analyse the original examples of liberal and conservative ideas.
4   Being able to inform about lifes of liberal and conservative thinkers who lived in Turkey.
5   Being able to forge a link between liberalizm or conservatizm with other political ideas in Turkey.
