Course Objective

The aim of this course is to understand the structure, process and results of social systems in terms of the creation and distribution of income in the process of globalization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to compare the developments in the field of social policy in different country groups.
2   To be able to learn the elements influencing social policy in global and local scale
3   To be able to analyze effects of free movement of labour on the EU in terms of social and economic
4   To be able to compare the change of production, division of labour, labour market, and implementation of social policies on a global scale in terms of time and space.
5   To be able to discuss social and economic crisis and transformations in the global scale in the context of the labor market and to evaluate their effects on Türkiye.
