Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the difference between history and fiction, history and historical fictions. However, historical fictions play an important role in The aim of this course is to examine how the historical fictions evaluate and create the historical events.

1   The difference between history and fiction, history and historical novels
2   The importance of historical event in historiography
3   The role of history in the relationship between nation state and nationalism
4   The role of historical fictions in the rise of interest in history
5   The relationship between fiction and reality in historical novels
