Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the Turkish War of Independence in terms of internal and external parameters.

2   2. The relationships between Turkey and other countries during the Turkish National Struggle
3   3. The political, social, economic, and military situation in the beginning of the Turkish National Struggle
4   4. The Treaty of Montrose and the Treaty of Sevres
5   5. The political, social, economic, and military aspects of the Turkish War of Independence
6   6. The differences between the Treaty of Montrose-Sevres and the Treaty of Mudanya-Lausanne
7   7. The place of the Turkish War of Independence in the wars of independence in all over the world
