Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve knowledge of the literature on social history studies, which is the most important dimension that historiography has reached today, and to gain knowledge about the reasons for the shift from the history of the state to the history of the society, which has occupied historiography for many years as the most important form of classical historiography.

1. LO 1-3: This will be evaluated through the performance in the term examinations.
2. LO 3-5: This will be evaluated through the performance in the final examinations.
3. LO 4: This will be reinforced with research work assignments.

1. 80% attendance is obligatory. You cannot enter class more than 20 minutes late.
2. Non-attendance will not be considered as an acceptable excuse.
3. Participation to the term and final examinations will be considered in the
evaluation.
4. Students are expected to act in accordance with scientific rules in lessons and homework.
5. Course materials are uploaded to online.deu.edu.tr.
6. Students are expected to behave in accordance with their student identity in classes.
