Course Objective

To create disaster awareness ; to examine the disaster administration system in Turkey and evaluate the case studies

1   Being able to define the terminology related to disaster administration
2   Being able to differentiate emergency management from risk management
3   Being able to understand the importance of disaster management
4   To know the duties and responsibilities of local governments in case of disaster
5   Being able to analyze disaster examples in the context of central and local responsibilities
