Course Objective

The aim of the course is to introduce the concepts of quality, standardization, total quality management (TQM), features of TQM; to give an understanding of implementations of TQM in public sector and analyze these implementations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define the terminology of TQM
2   Being able to restate the fundamental principles of TQM.
3   Being able to analyse and interpret the implementations of TQM
4   Being able to express the positive and negative aspects of TQM in public sector
5   Being able to assess sample implementations of TQM in public sector
