Course Objective

Provide to learn the structure of the central nervous system, sensory organs in connection with their structure and function in human body.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To explain and identify. the anatomical structure and connections of the Central Nervous System, 2   To explain the ways of descending and descending spinal cord and brain. 3   To define the distribution of cranial nerve nuclei, central connections 4   To discuss the structure and properties and to define the functions of the medulla oblongata, pons, cerebellum, mesencephalon, diencephalon 5   To define the structure and functions of hemispherium cerebri, cortex cerebri, formation reticularis and the limbic system, basal nuclei. 6   To identify the connections of hypotahlamus, thalamus and connections of the autonomic nervous system, cerebellum 7   To discuss the properties of the development of the central nervous system, blood supply of the meninges and brain.
