Course Objective

Acquire the basic knowledge about subjective and objective audiological and vestibuler tests.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to know vestibuler disorders.
2   Be able to know vestibuler test devices.
3   Describe, perform and interpret vestibuler test.
4   Know what signs may indicate middle ear or external ear canal pathology.
5   Be able to manipulate controls to present stimuli and perform all relevant tests with immitance meter.
6   Know the questions that should be answered fort he purposes of the audiological assessment.
7   Describe, perform and interpret the objective tests (evoked otoacoustic emissions and auditory evoked potentials).
8   Understand how audiometric results can help provide differential diagnoses of commen auditory disorders.
9   Be able to know what is cortical potentials.
10   Be able to use cortical potentials devices.
